When can I go on a trip?
Trips to Brazil are arranged about 3 times a year.
Each team will travel to Curitiba for 12-15 days, and may consist of volunteers from various countries.

What will I be doing?
You will spend most of your time in the Voice for Change centre in Vila Uniäo, one of the favelas (slum areas) in Curitiba.
You will be helping the staff there as they teach the children and play games with them. No teaching skills are necessary.
There may also be some practical tasks to do, such as painting and general upkeep of the Vila centre.
We'll also make sure that you get to experience Brazilian culture and food, with trips to local markets, the beach and maybe even a soccer game included in the itinerary.

The cost of the trip includes air travel, lodging and most meals. The prices fluctuate due to the exchange rate and the time of year. Those from outside the UK may need a VISA to enter Brazil. You must receive appropriate immunisation from your local travel clinic, and you will need to provide evidence of insurance for the trip.
