Volunteers
We take 2-3 short-term trips a year of volunteers from various countries in the world. We call these our Quick Hit Teams. Each team consists of leaders & 8-10 volunteers.

For many of the volunteers this is their first time working in third world situations & is often a taste of the work that they may want to pursue on a short or long-term basis.

Some of these volunteers will go on to work with Voice for Change. But for us is a privilege to be a vehicle whereby many other overseas agencies will benefit from our strategy. Each team has the opportunity to work with out children, also with our staff in the slums & directly with our children.

You do not need to know any portuguese to go on these trips. We also run a longer volunteer programme for people who have been on a Quick Hit Trip and would like to go back for a longerspend.
