Volunteers
We take 2-3 short-term trips a year of volunteers from various countries in the world. We call these our Quick Hit Teams. Each team consists of leaders & 8-10 volunteers.

For many of the volunteers this is their first time working in third world situations & is often a taste of the work that they may want to pursue on a short or long-term basis.

Some of these volunteers will go on to work with Voice for Change. But for us is a privilege to be a vehicle whereby many other overseas agencies will benefit from our strategy. Each team has the opportunity to work directly with our children, also with our staff in the slums.

We have a full child protection policy in place.

You do not need to know any portuguese to go on these trips. We also run a longer volunteer programme for people who have been on a Quick Hit trip and would like to go back for a longer spell of work with Voice for change. This envolves learning brazilian portuguese to a standard before you go.
